There are two parts in an egg.
Egg white: The outer white part is called egg white or Albumen. Egg white contains two parts, outer thin layer and inner think layer.
Egg yolk: Inner yellow part is called egg yolk. Egg yolk and egg white are separated by thin membrane layer called the vitelline membrane. Within the egg yolk, the central circle is called the germ. This is the place where chick develops if the egg is fertilized.

Proteins ovalbumin (nourishment), ovotransferrin (protein binds to iron), ovomucoid (blocks digestive enzymes), globulins (repair membranes), lysozyme (digest bacterial cell walls), ovomucin (inhibit virus) and avidin (binds to vitamin biotin)
