Soda is a carbonated water. Some sodas in the market contains vitamins and minerals.

 

What is an energy drink?

 
Energy drinks contain caffeine, herbs, vitamins and minerals. Energy drinks provide stimulation and activation of brain and muscles. Energy drinks are used mainly during sports activities. Some of the ingredients of energy drinks are caffeine, ginger, ginseng, ephedrine, inositol, carnitine, vitamins and minerals.
 

 

What problems may cause when alcohol mixed energy drinks are consumed?

 
Energy drinks containing caffeine stimulates the brain and central nervous system. Alcohol has depression activity on nervous system. Both act as antagonistic to each other and may require more alcohol to show desired effect. This leads to increase in the alcohol consumption and toxicity.
 

Effects of carbonated water on health

 
Carbonated water is used for expelling bad smell from the mouth. Carbonated water is consumed after heavy meal for digestion. Carbonated water with ginger acts as a carminative. Carbonated water also destroys the bacteria. However, carbonated water is known to reduce calcium and bone density that may leads to osteoporosis.
